What this engagement model covers

Some organizations need a trusted technical resource to think through problems with, not a formal engagement with a scope of work. Some integrators need an experienced voice on a complex bid or a difficult deployment. Some practitioners are trying to close a knowledge gap and want something more direct than a course or a certification. That is a legitimate use of the model.

Hans Study, CISSP, has spent 15 years working across enterprise networks, cybersecurity, and physical security, and years teaching these disciplines at the post-secondary level. Cisco CCNA, Introductory and Advanced Networking, and Network and Infrastructure Security. Teaching is where you find out how well you actually understand something. It also shaped an approach to guidance that starts with where the person actually is, not where a course curriculum assumes they should be.

The foundation is direct experience in the environments where these questions actually come from. Government, defence, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, airports, transit, and enterprise. The guidance reflects that, not a theoretical framework.
